I am captivated by the concept of lifecycles; built and organic. Directed by autobiography and allegory, my work stems from sentimentality, while using observation and botanical elements to present an intimate perspective on domesticity.

Using the great metaphoric vocabulary and gestural nature of plants, I contemplate everyday life in all of its ephemeral beauty and woe. Abundant blooms and lush growth juxtapose lanky spindles and wilt, personifying inanimate forms, as to express my sentiments toward them at a given moment in time.
