EVENT
GROWING RCS (Ravena, Coeymans, Selkirk) is a platform to connect with nearby nature enthusiasts that want to share knowledge and resources about local flora and fauna, raise awareness about our area’s natural resources, and inspire ethical land stewardship through gardening and appreciation of our natural surroundings.
GROWING RCS was created on January 26, 2022 by Sara Pruiksma, and in 2023 adopted the name GROWING RCS Friends of Homegrown National Park to strengthen and reinforce our mutual goals.
Join us Saturday, April 1st for the first ever GROWING RCS event!

INTERVIEW
“Having a greater appreciation of what’s around you ultimately leads to happiness.” Sara Pruiksma’s art is inspired by her direct surroundings. She fell in love with the history and architecture of Coeymans, NY after buying her first home there with her husband. Her art became an expression of her love for the area, and her desire to save its historic buildings.
